Grave قبر

In a dream it is a prison, and a prison is a grave. Whoever sees that he is living in a grave while he is alive will be imprisoned. Whoever builds a grave in his dream will build a house. If he enters the grave without seeing a funeral, he will buy a house that is already finished. Whoever digs a grave while unmarried will marry a woman through cunning and trickery.

(Whoever sees) that he is standing over a grave has committed a sin, based on the words of God Most High:

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُم مَّاتَ أَبَدًا وَلَا تَقُمْ عَلَىٰ قَبْرِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ

“And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muḥammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allāh and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.”

Quran 9:84 · Saheeh International

Whoever digs a grave in ground with no wall around it, that is the abode of the Hereafter: if he enters it, his appointed time has come, and if he does not enter it, no harm will come to him. Whoever buys a grave and does not enter it will possess a woman's intimacy through marriage, or will buy a slave girl.

(Whoever sees) a grave move from one place to another, someone among the descendants of the grave's occupant will build a house there. Known graves represent a true matter, and unknown graves are hypocrites, based on His words, Most High:

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

“And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allāh causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.”

Quran 35:22 · Saheeh International

Whoever digs a grave on a rooftop will have a long life. Whoever visits graves will visit people who are in prison. Rain falling on graves is mercy from God Most High. Whoever builds a grave will marry. Whoever takes a grave as his dwelling will often remember death. Burial signifies staying in the place where he was buried. Graves signify distant journeys, loneliness, spouses and prisons.

(Whoever sees) that he dug a grave for himself or for someone else, or that one was dug for him, will build a house in that town or settle there.

(Whoever sees) that he is filling in a grave, his life will be long and his health will last.

(Whoever sees) that he was buried in a grave without having died will be struck by worry, or by hardship in his affairs, or will be imprisoned.

(Whoever sees) himself buried alive in his grave, shrouded and embalmed, will marry a woman.

(Whoever sees) that he dug open the grave of a dead person is seeking that person's way and following in that dead person's footsteps. If the dead person was a scholar, it is wealth (of knowledge) that will reach him; if he was rich, he will attain wealth and money. If he reaches him in his grave and sees him alive, that money is unlawful, while that wisdom and knowledge are sound. If he finds him dead, he will not attain what he sought.

(Whoever sees) that he dug open the grave of the Messenger of God (God bless him and grant him peace) will revive those of his Sunnah (prophetic practices) that have faded away, unless he reaches his bones and breaks them, in which case he will leave his quest for innovation and misguidance.

(Whoever sees) the dead rising up from their graves and returning to their homes, unknown and unrecognized, those who are in prison will come out, or the idolaters of his city will embrace Islam, or the grain people sowed in the ground and had given up hope of will sprout. Whoever digs open the grave of an unbeliever, an innovator in religion, or one of the protected non-Muslim subjects (ahl al-dhimma) is seeking the doctrine of the misguided, or is pursuing unlawful money through cunning and deception. If the digging leads to a stinking carcass, foul black mud or a great deal of excrement, that is stronger as evidence and a clearer sign of reaching the corruption that he seeks.
