Flattery تملق

Whoever sees in a dream as if he is flattering someone for some worldly goods, that is disliked. If he sees as if he is flattering him for knowledge he wants to learn [or: act upon], or for some righteous deed for which he seeks his help, he will obtain honor, his religion will be sound and he will attain what he seeks. It is also said that flattery, for one who is accustomed to it in his dealings, is not disliked in interpretation, while for one who is not accustomed to it, it is humiliation and contempt. If the flattery comes from a woman he knows, that indicates that he will escape safely from the hands of his enemy. Engaging in flattery and cajoling in a dream is a sign of selflessness, righteousness and charity.
