[Falling] from high to low indicates the shifting of conditions from good to evil, from one wife to another, from one trade to another, from one town to another, or from one doctrine to another. The goodness of the outcome in all of this is inferred from what he came to in the dream: if what he came down to in the dream was a green meadow, good food, or righteous strong people, that and the like is a sign of the goodness of his condition in what he ends up with; and if in the dream he came down into a ruin or to a predatory animal, it indicates a bad outcome in what he comes to. It may indicate greed and stinginess with the wealth he has. The Exalted said:
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
“And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?”
Quran 92:11 · Saheeh International
Whoever falls from the top of a house and breaks his hand or leg will be struck by an affliction in himself, his wealth or his friend, or something hateful will come to him from the ruler.
