Crops (sowing, cultivated fields) زرع

Whoever sees in a dream that he sowed a crop, it is his wife's pregnancy.

(Whoever sees) that he is plowing in the crop land of someone else, there will be war between him and the owner of that land. The burning of crops is hunger and drought.

(Whoever sees) that he is walking busily in a green field is striving in works of piety and devotion, not knowing whether they will be accepted from him or not.

(Whoever sees) that he has sown in a piece of land: for a married man it is a child, for an unmarried man marriage, for one who has produce an increase in his income, and for a ruler an expansion of his kingdom. If a Jew sees that he cast his crop into a field, he will be killed and stoned. Green crops signify a long life, and dry crops signify the nearness of one's appointed death. A crop of wheat [burr] that he gives or takes is piety [birr] or charity with multiplied reward [wordplay]. Ears of wheat may signify hardship, just as its ears signify multiplied reward. Barley [shaʿir] is a sensing [istishʿar] of good [wordplay]. Crops signify work: whoever sees that he is in land suitable for sowing is doing a deed through which he hopes for good tomorrow. If he sees crops being harvested out of season, it signifies death in that neighborhood, or war. Whoever walks among the crops walks among the ranks of those fighting in God's cause.

(Whoever sees) that he has a known crop, that is his work in his religion.

(Whoever sees) that he walked busily in a green field is striving in works of piety and devotion. The field signifies a woman, because it is plowed, seeded, bears, gives birth and nurses until the time of harvest, when the plant no longer needs the ground; its ears are her children or her wealth. The field may signify the marketplace, its ears being its provisions, profits and gains, because of the many profits of crops, and their blights, yields and losses. The field signifies the battlefield, its ears being its soldiers and its harvest being by the sword. It may signify this world, its ears being the whole community of people — young and old, elderly and middle-aged. Fields may also signify every place where one plows for the Hereafter and works for reward and recompense, such as mosques, hospices [ribat], circles of remembrance of God and places of charity.
