In a dream it signifies provision and good, because a city's supplies come from its estates. Estates may signify what is harvested from them, such as dates, raisins or wheat; so whatever flood or fire befalls the estate in the dream is a shortfall in the fruit or grain we have mentioned. The estate may signify livelihood and provision, or a wife who helps with it, or a husband who patiently toils for his household. If increase in good appears in it, that is a sign of growth, blessing and provision from it. The estate may also signify the waste of one's life in heedlessness [wordplay: day'a (estate) / diya' (loss, waste)], absence of pleasures, and being distracted from acquiring knowledge.
