They signify the easing of what is difficult and quick provision. Seeing them may signify destruction and admonition.
Whoever sees a crop being harvested: if that is in a land where there is war, or a place of fighting and combat, as many people will perish there by the sword as are harvested in the dream with the sickle. If that is in a land where there is no war and it is not known for it, and the harvesting is in the great congregational mosque, or among the quarters, or above scattered houses, it is the sword of God the Exalted through epidemic or plague. If it is in one of the markets, the profits of its people will increase and sales will circulate among them with profit. If it is in a mosque or one of the gathering places of good, and the people themselves undertook the harvesting, without seeing unknown beings harvesting for them, they are rewards and good deeds gained by everyone who harvested. As for his throwing the harvested crop onto the plowed fields: if that is after the crop is complete and ripe, it is good for it; if it is before it is complete, it is a blight on the crop or a slump in food. Harvesting signifies a wage and reward with which the harvester is recompensed. If the harvest is out of its time, it is death or fighting: if it is in the green crop, it is the death of young people, and if it is in the white [ripe] crop, it is the death of old people. Whoever walks in a harvested field is walking among the ranks of those who fight in God's cause.
