Chest (breast) صدر

Its being broad and beautiful in a dream is, for an unbeliever, a sign of his embracing Islam; for a sinner it is repentance and an opening of the heart to obedience; and it signifies the easing of what is difficult.

Whoever sees his beloved in his chest in a dream, it signifies that he complains about him; if he is suffering because of him, it signifies being freed from what he complains of. A beautiful chest may signify selflessness, and expanding [opening] the chest may signify spending. The chest may signify what one hides in it of knowledge, wealth, guidance or misguidance. The chest is a guest, or a wife, or a position in which the chiefs [sudur] gather. A narrow chest is misguidance; if a non-Muslim under protection [dhimmi] sees [that], or [anyone sees] that his chest is narrow, he will suffer a loss in his wealth. It is said that a broad chest is generosity and a narrow one is stinginess.

Whoever sees that his chest turned to stone will become hard-hearted. A broad chest also signifies injustice. The chest is the house of worry and joy, so whoever sees that his chest is broad will obtain happiness.

Whoever sees that his chest is narrow will suffer distress and worry. It is said that its broadness is for Islam and its narrowness for tyranny. If an unbeliever sees his chest broad, he will gain knowledge and profit in his trade.

Whoever sees pain in his chest has committed a sin and been punished for it. It is said that he spends money extravagantly, not in obedience to God the Exalted, and has been punished for it. If a man sees two breasts on his chest, he will marry if he is single, or he will fall in love and be disgraced.
