Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Bonesetter مجبر

In a dream he is the one who sets bones and fits them together inside the body. Seeing him in a dream indicates a king with many crafts who sets rights in order through rulings with uprightness and sets the scales in order by adjusting them. Seeing the bonesetter indicates self-aggrandizement, overbearing power [jabarut, play on jabr] and boldness, because he sets fractures, cuts away what cannot be mended and mends what is broken. Seeing him indicates worries and troubles. He may indicate the engineer, as the engineer indicates him. Seeing him may indicate building. He indicates a generous giver who mends [the fortunes of] the broken poor. If the bonesetter in a dream treats lions and sets their bones, he will help wrongdoers in their wrongdoing. Seeing the bonesetter indicates everyone through whose hands good flows in religion and worldly life, such as the judge, the ruler, the jurist, the elder, the cobbler and the tailor. If he sees that he stood before a bonesetter over some matter or a fracture that struck him, consider his condition. If he says, ‘I saw an ulcer come out on my neck and I went with it to a bonesetter, who opened it with iron until all that was in it flowed out,’ it is testimony he will give, or a vow he will fulfill, or a debt he will pay, at the hands of a judge or a scholar.

(Whoever sees) his joints come apart or his bones scattered, and the bonesetter joined them to one another until he became a sound body again, it indicates that he will cut out a garment and give it to a tailor to sew. If this was in the right hand specifically, and the bonesetter made a splint on it and hung it from his neck, a man will mend his fortunes with his kindness, and that will hold his hand back from crafts and work and keep it from accepting charity. If it is in both his feet or one of them, its interpretation is along those lines, unless he has a riding animal, in which case I fear that some mishap will befall it for which it will need the veterinarian.
