In a dream it is a man raised by someone other than his father.
(Whoever sees) arrows in his hand, happy news will come to him. Arrows are speaking the truth and answering one who does not obey God Most High: if the arrow hits, his command is carried out; it is said that if it misses, it is not carried out. A strong, straight arrow is a letter containing true words; if it is of cane, that is false speech. If the arrow is a shaft [sahm], he is a talkative, eloquent man: if it hits, what he says is carried out; if it breaks, he is cautious in his speech. If his arrow is of gold, it is a message to a woman and because of a woman. The arrowhead on the arrow is might and strength. The arrow's wobbling is the messenger's fear for himself in delivering it.
(Whoever sees) that he is shooting arrows will be accused of tale-bearing and slander. If the arrow has no feathers, the messenger is subservient.
(Whoever sees) an arrow made of an arrowhead [only] wants to send a message to a woman and will not find a messenger.
