Surat al-Nur (The Light) سورة النور

Whoever recites it in a dream, or some of it, or has it recited over him: Ja'far al-Sadiq, may God be pleased with him, said he will be among those who enjoin good and forbid evil, who love for the sake of God and hate for the sake of God. It is said God will illuminate his heart and his grave. It is said he will fall ill. It is also said he will be granted piety and certainty. If he recites ten verses of it, he will divorce his wife or die and leave her. Whoever recites from its beginning seeks the Sunna, and will be given a reward equal to the number of every believing man and woman, past and to come.
