Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Sock (stocking) جورب

In a dream it is wealth and protection, as long as it has not been worn.

Whoever sees that he put on a sock has protected his wealth. If he has a mother, he will emigrate with her; otherwise he will be deprived of his child. If the sock has a pleasant smell and is new and intact, its owner pays the alms-tax [zakat], protects his wealth by it, and will be well spoken of. If it is old and worn out, he withholds the zakat and does not pay it, and his wealth is close to ruin. If its smell is foul, he will be badly spoken of. The sock is interpreted as servants and a slave-woman.
