Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Sinking of the earth (subsidence) خسف

In a dream it is a threat from the ruler.

Whoever sees that the earth caved in with him will be struck by punishment. Subsidence in one region of the land is a severe illness that befalls the people of that region, or locusts, severe cold, drought or fear.

Whoever sees the earth swallow him: if he is one of the people of evil, it is a punishment that descends upon him, or a distant journey from which it is feared he will not return.
