Ruby (sapphire, yaqut) ياقوت

In a dream it is joy and amusement. Whoever sees that he wore a ruby ring will have adornment and a name. If he sees that he took a ruby stone and was expecting a child, a daughter will be born to him; otherwise he will own a slave girl. If he wants to marry, he will marry a lovely, beautiful, religious woman, because of His saying, the Exalted:

كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ

“As if they were rubies and coral.”

Quran 55:58 · Saheeh International

Whoever finds a ruby stone, money will come to him from non-Arabs. (Whoever sees) that he brought out from the bottom of the sea or the river many rubies, measured by the bushel and carried in loads, will obtain great wealth from the treasures of kings, or from the man to whom that river is attributed. Much ruby is knowledge for a scholar, governorship for a governor and trade for a merchant. It is said that the ruby is a hard-hearted friend. Whoever has a crown of rubies and coral, that is his honor and strength from a woman, or his possessing a beautiful woman. For the poor, the ruby [yaqut] may be sustenance [qut] that they obtain, or it may be a copy of the Quran that sustains him. For the sick it may be deliverance from the Fire, because fire has no effect on the ruby.

(Whoever sees) a red ruby stone in his hand, a beautiful, hard-hearted woman loves him.

(Whoever sees) in his hand a stone resembling a ruby that is not a ruby claims nobility but is not noble.
