Musk مسك

In a dream it indicates secret charity and pregnancy with children. For a dead person it may indicate that he is in Paradise. Musk may indicate profitable trade for those engaged in it. It may indicate splendid properties from which profit accrues to him, or the orchard from which fruit is gathered, or precious knowledge from scholars. If musk is put on fire, like ambergris and aloeswood, he will introduce an innovation into his religion, or his wealth and standing will go in corruption and putting things where they do not belong, or he will serve the ruler with his money. Musk is a beloved, a slave girl or a child; it is also said a woman. Whoever among thieves carries it will be caught [yumsak, play on misk], because the pure scent betrays its carrier and reveals what is hidden. Musk indicates wealth, because it is more costly than gold. It indicates a pleasant life and pure good for whoever smells it or owns it. It indicates the innocence of the accused. Musk and every black perfume, such as cloves and nutmeg, is lordship [sudad, play on sawad = black] and happiness. Grinding it is good praise; if there is no grinding of it, it indicates doing good to one who is ungrateful.
